Burial At Sea

Of course the relatives can attend the burial at sea
At a sea burial, after the cremation the ashes are given to the sea in a special sea urn. The funeral can take place on the North or Baltic Sea, on request also on all other seas in the world.
Of course the relatives can attend the burial. We take care of all the necessary formalities. In principle, the same conditions apply to a maritime burial as to a cremation. That means that a special order is necessary.
The deceased must have left a handwritten expression of will with the appropriate content during his lifetime or else the relatives have to make a meaningful statement (expression of will). The forms provided for this purpose are available from us.
A sea burial must also be approved by the authorities. For this it is necessary to prove a special relationship of the deceased to the sea. This can be assured by the relatives in writing and informally.
